Montana University System's Leader in Geo Intelligence
This site hosts geospatial content that supports research and academic units on the University of Montana affiliated campuses.
The University of Montana has embraced the geospatial revolution since 1988; leading the region in the application of geospatial technologies to challenges in natural resources.
The University of Montana currently hosts the only Montana University System campus-wide site license for geospatial software, which covers campuses in Butte, Dillion, Hamilton, Helena, and Missoula. These software products enrich the academic, research, and service mission of the University of Montana.
The educational and research mission is enhanced through advocacy and advancement of basic and applied research, creative work, and academic scholarship. This fosters an environment where research, scholarly activities, entrepreneurship, and economic development thrive for the benefit of Montana's citizens.
